Terms of Service
Operated by Hometection Technologies MB — the company behind Loopapa.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Loopapa application, website, and related services (the "Service"), operated by Hometection Technologies MB, a small partnership (mažoji bendrija) registered in the Republic of Lithuania under registration code 306191355, with its registered office at Verkių g. 31B, Vilnius, Lithuania ("Hometection", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, ticking "I agree", or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Service" — the Loopapa software (mobile and web), including AI-assisted features, and any related websites and support.
- "Subscriber" / "you" — the business that registers an account, together with the individual accepting these Terms on the business's behalf.
- "Authorized User" / "Staff" — individuals (such as your employees) whom the Subscriber adds to its workspace.
- "Content" — data, text, voice recordings, images, task records, and other material submitted to or generated within the Service.
2. Eligibility and account authority
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your business. By registering, you confirm that you are authorized to add and manage Authorized Users and their information within the Service.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for the actions of your Authorized Users.
4. The Service and license
Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your internal business operations during your subscription term.
5. Subscriptions, plans and billing
- Available plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise) and their limits are described in the Service and on our website. Paid plans are billed per location, monthly or annually.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- If you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, payment, renewals, and refunds are also subject to that store's terms, and the store — not Hometection — processes your payment.
- We may change prices or plan features with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
- Prices may be exclusive of taxes (e.g., VAT), which may be added where applicable.
6. Free plan and trials
The Free plan and any free trial are provided "as is" and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at our discretion. Plan limits (such as storage, data history, and number of staff) apply as described in the Service.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by applicable law or by the relevant app store, fees already paid are non-refundable. Where you deal with us directly as a consumer in the EU, statutory withdrawal rights may apply; note that by requesting immediate access to a digital service you may lose the 14-day right of withdrawal. Purchases made through an app store are subject to that store's refund policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse or disrupt the Service;
- upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access or breach security;
- reverse engineer or copy the Service;
- resell or sublicense it without authorization;
- enter false or misleading food-safety or operational records; or
- use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
9. Customer responsibilities and compliance
Important
The Service is a digital record-keeping, scheduling, and team-management tool. It does not provide legal, regulatory, food-safety, or HACCP advice, and it does not guarantee, certify, or ensure compliance with any law or standard, including HACCP and food-safety regulations.
You are solely responsible for:
- (a) your actual compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;
- (b) the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the records you create in the Service;
- (c) verifying any information before relying on it for inspections, audits, or operational decisions; and
- (d) maintaining any records required by authorities in your jurisdiction.
Use of Loopapa is not a substitute for your own food-safety program, professional advice, or official inspections.
10. Authorized Users and data roles
You decide which Authorized Users to add and what information about them to enter into the Service. As between you and us, you are the data controller for the personal data of your Authorized Users and any other individuals you add, and we act as data processor on your behalf. Our processing is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a valid legal basis for this processing and for informing your Authorized Users about how their data is used.
11. AI features
Important
The Service includes AI-assisted features (for example, voice-to-task creation, task suggestions, and procedure/SOP generation) powered by third-party AI providers. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes. You must review AI-generated content before relying on it, particularly for food-safety or compliance-related tasks. We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI output.
12. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service and all related intellectual property. You retain ownership of your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
13. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Google Firebase / Google Cloud for hosting and AI processing, the Apple App Store, and Google Play). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
14. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL ENSURE REGULATORY OR HACCP COMPLIANCE.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, OR FOR ANY REGULATORY FINES OR PENALTIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (such as liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your handling of your Authorized Users' personal data.
17. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including deletion of data on account closure.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in-app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
